Aye neighbor! I'm Lee, a Caribbean Wellness Chef with a passion for helping women take their hormone health to the next level with the flavors of the Southern Caribbean. I was born and raised on the beautiful island of St. Vincent and the Grenadines and experiences firsthand how our indigenous recipes bring communities together and have the ability to heal our bodies. With culinary training from the Escoffier School of Culinary Arts, I am honored to have shared my recipes and cooking skills at the James Beard House, Baltimore Museum of Arts and various food publications.

I’ve dedicated my career to showcasing the art of Vincentian cooking by sharing its unique culinary heritage and vibrant flavors into kitchens worldwide through engaging, fun, and informative online cooking classes.

What skill level is required to participate in the cooking classes?

Each Caribbean cooking class is designed to accommodate a wide range of skill levels, from beginners to experienced home cooks. Whether you're new to Caribbean cuisine or already have some culinary expertise, the classes provide clear and easy-to-follow instructions. Techniques and recipes are broken down step by step, so that everyone can enjoy and learn from the experience.

What equipment and ingredients do I need to have on hand for the online cooking classes?

You'll receive a list of required equipment and ingredients for each class in advance. Typically, you'll need basic kitchen utensils like knives, pots, pans, and a stove or oven. As for ingredients, we focus on using readily available items and can suggest substitutions when necessary. Each class is designed to be accessible, so you'd rarely need any special or hard-to-find ingredients.

How long are the online Caribbean cooking classes, and can I watch them at my own pace?

Live cooking classes typically run for about 60-75 minutes, depending on the complexity of the recipe. After purchasing a class, you'll receive your recipe card (includes shopping list, prep list and full recipe) and the class link. Because these classes are currently in real-time (live), there are no playbacks available.

Can I ask questions or seek clarification during the online cooking classes?

Absolutely! Interaction and questions during online cooking classes are encouraged. You can use the chat or comment feature to ask questions, seek clarifications, or share your experiences with the instructor and fellow participants. Active (not disruptive) engagement enhances the learning experience and helps ensure your success in recreating each delicious recipe at home.

What if I miss my class, can I get a refund?

Hey, life happens. If you miss your scheduled class, then you can reschedule within 14 days. No refunds, exceptions at this time.
