Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to be an expert cook?
Not at all. As long as you are comfortable in your kitchen, you're good to go. You don't need formal training, special equipment, or an impressive repertoire. If you can follow a recipe and you cook at home regularly, you have everything you need to show up to this session.
What if I don't have specific ingredients?
Our culinary wellness sessions are built around what's already in your kitchen. Your pantry, heritage staples, and everyday ingredients do the heavy-lifting. If you already cook with whole foods regularly, you likely have most of what you need. If you're newer to whole-food cooking, you may have to pick up one or two nutrient-dense staples.
What actually happens on The Tasting Call before I commit?
The Tasting is a free discovery call where you get the answers you need before deciding anything. We'll discuss your symptoms and cooking habits so your session can be built around you. You'll leave knowing exactly what to expect and whether Kitchen Dialect is the right fit for where you are right now.
How is this different from watching a cooking video or following a recipe?
A video teaches technique. A recipe gives you instructions. Neither one guarantees you'll walk away knowing how to build meals that actually work for your cycle and heritage.
Our culinary wellness coaching gives you something more specific. Real-time guidance from a trained chef, a certified health coach, and a woman who has lived through these symptoms and is dedicated to making sure you get it right. You leave with practical skills to create personall menus built entirely around you and your wellness journey.
Can I book this session even if I don't have a diagnosis?
Absolutely! You don't need a diagnosis to benefit from cooking intentionally for your cycle. If you want to understand how to prepare food in a way that supports your hormones and overall health, that's reason enough.
What phase should I start with? I'm new to cycle syncing
Start with the phase whose symptoms are most disruptive to your life right now. If your period is the week that consistently takes you out, start here. Each phase has its own session so you can move through them in any order based on what your body is asking for most.
What if my kitchen is small or basic?
Here's a secret...if you already cook nourishing meals at home, your kitchen is enough.
